Can any one person have such a profound effect on the lives of so many people? Garnie is remembered by many and not only those who attended our School. She lighted a candle in each of our little souls and we didn't even realize this had happened. We just thought we had attended a very good school. The ripples of her effect on us can be felt amongst our families and friends. Garnie's life should be an example to us all. Wherever you work, fellowship or socialize light a candle that motivates, encourages and mentors. Remember to want to be the one of whom affectionate stories would be told. Garnie, much admired, much respected, much loved and forever in our hearts. Genevieve Ebe-Arthur (1980 year group)
